If you find yourself in Woodville Gardens, South Australia, Palm The Wokker offers a genuine taste of Thailand in a compact, lively setting. This Thai restaurant specializes in authentic street-style dishes that echo the bustling food stalls of Bangkok. Located at 160 Ridley Grove, it’s a hidden gem that promises rich flavors and a warmly inviting atmosphere.

The menu showcases a variety of traditional staples, preparing each with great care and vibrant ingredients. Standouts include the Thai Street Fried Rice, a colorful and aromatic dish that captures the essence of everyday Thai dining. The Pad Thai is executed with balance and finesse, glossy noodles tossed with fresh greens and your choice of protein, a dish that regularly delights both newcomers and Thai cuisine aficionados.

For those seeking something heartier, the Deep Fried Pork Belly is an absolute must-try. Marinated with fish sauce and topped with aromatic garlic and coriander, it offers a perfect crispy exterior with tender meat inside, elevated by a tangy tamarind sauce that awakens the palate. The Moo Ping skewers provide smoky, garlicky notes paired with a spicy tamarind dip, an ideal snack-sized entrée when you want something flavorful but light.

The salads are fresh and zesty, particularly the Grilled Beef Salad and Thai Chicken Salad. Both combine herbs like mint and coriander with crisp vegetables and a signature hot and sour chili jam dressing that cuts through the richness beautifully. These dishes are tailored for gluten-free diners as well, demonstrating the kitchen’s thoughtful approach to diverse dietary needs.

The experience is not just about eating; it’s about savoring genuine Thai street flavors paired with an environment that encourages friendly interaction and relaxed conversation, though you might have to raise your voice slightly during busy times. The restaurant’s authentic beverages, like their Thai milk tea, complement the meal perfectly, rounding out an immersive culinary journey.

Small shop in the middle of residential area. Booking is recommended. Nice ambiance. Food can take a while to be served during peak hours. The food in general are all packed with flavours. Stay chicken was delicious and sauce with tender meat. Pad Thai is good. All the fried dishes were crispy. Braised pork belly was tender. Tom Kha broth was tasty, perfect for 2 to share. Only thing is that portions are quite small compared to the prices. But definitely worth a try.

We had absolutely delightful experience at this restaurant. The dishes we ordered were not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout which made all the difference. The menu offered plenty of options and the service was quick. If you're looking for authentic thai cuisine, I would highly recommend to visit this place. Our favorites were the papaya salad, spicy roasted pork belly, pad thai, and thai street fried rice. We weren't a big fan of their deep fried taro coconut ice cream.

a lot of friends hardly recommended us this restaurant because we live nearby. It's really top notch!!! their spicy crispy roast pork was really crispy!! and tried their seafood tom yum soup, it's really suits my taste! sweet, sour and spicy! plenty of seafood in the soup, and tasteful herbs! their Thai milk tea was also taste really authentic! as i know this restaurant always crowded, make sure to book a reservation before coming. staff are really friendly, always smiling, and tried to make sure everything perfect for us one more thing, the restaurant is kinda small but full of crowd, has a really small gap between each table, need to raise your voice a lil bit when you talked to each other hahaha.

Palm The Wokker never disappoints — truly authentic Thai flavours that remind us of home. This time we ordered the choochee soft-shell crab, boat noodle soup, pork jowl salad, somtum with fermented fish and crab, and the braised pork. Every single dish was packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The service is always warm, friendly, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. The quality has been consistently amazing each time we visit, and we always leave feeling satisfied and happy. Definitely one of our favourite Thai spots in town!

Eating here made us so happy! Every single dish has a well balanced flavor. The flavor is unique, i believe that there is something that the chef incorporated to make it taste special. We ordered Choo Chee Soft shell Crab, Tom yum , Chicken Cashew Nut and Crispy Eggplant for entree. Make sure u try all these too! Highly recommended! And oh well, we had pandan custard lava puff which is so delish as well.

Wow, I am highly impressed by Palm The Wokker! The food was exceptional, service was accomodating and fast and the atmosphere was aesthetic. Genuinely I have nothing to fault here! We ordered the Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Sweet and Sour Fish and Choo Chee Chicken – all dishes were 10/10 (highly recommend the fish!). Currently my number 1 Thai restaurant in Adelaide – will definitely be back to try more of the menu! :)
